Mu Communtiy

Since our inception, Mu's greatest strength has been the community of individuals who believe in our mission and care about our future. We have also been blessed with strong and wide-reaching foundation support. We believe that there is always a place in our organization for those who want to help or participate. Whether you want to be an actor or a costumer, if you feel you have a play burning within you or are simply willing to help keep the files in order, we'd love to hear from you.

Mu Champions

Our research has shown that individual connections and word-of-mouth are our most effective means of attracting audiences. For this reason, we have created the Mu Champion program. Mu Champions are essential and valued members of Mu’s grassroots marketing campaign, helping us spread the word about performances and events by creating personal contacts in the community. The role of a Mu Champion includes:

  • Acting as an advocate and ambassador for Mu Performing Arts.
  • Distributing posters and flyers to local business and community centers in your area.
  • Having the opportunity to participate in other volunteer activities throughout the season.

For their dedication, Mu Champions receive these exclusive benefits:

  • Special ticket offers to share with their contacts.
  • A free ticket to any Mu performance by organizing a group of 10 or more.
  • Recognition as a Mu Champion in each of our programs.
  • A Mu Champion reception in honor of your work.

If you are interested in becoming a Mu Champion, contact Stacey at 612-824-4804 or send an e-mail.

Special thanks to all of our Mu Champions!
