TRAFFIC - ROAD CLOSINGS
FYI - I94 and 35W will be completely closed this weekend around the down town area...here's more:
Interstates 35W and 94 will be completely closed in downtown Minneapolis this weekend as state transportation crews work on bridges crossing the roads.

The roads will be closed at 10 p.m. Friday and are scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m. Monday.

Interstate 94 will be closed between Cedar Avenue on the east and the 35W/94 split in the west; the 35W closing will go from the split to Seventh Street.

Recommended detours for 94 are Interstate 694 to 35W to Hwy. 280. Recommended detours for 35W are 94 to 694.

Several downtown exits from both freeways will remain open.
