To receive updates about audition notices and other opportunities for actors, designers, directors, and playwrights, email info@theatermu.org with the subject line "Artists' List". Please include how you'd like to get involved, resume, headshot, and/or work sample and, if you're comfortable, racial and ethnic background.

+ Can I send you my script or play idea?

Theater Mu welcomes script submissions for consideration in upcoming seasons. Before submitting, please carefully consider whether the script fits Theater Mu’s mission. Theater Mu will not respond to every submission; please do not contact us to inquire about the status of your script or for feedback. If we have questions or would like to proceed with your script, we will contact you when the time is right. To submit a script, please fill out this form.

NEW PLAY IDEAS

Theater Mu often commissions new work based on ideas from a variety of sources – if you are a playwright or community member with a story you believe should be told on our stage, please submit a short paragraph description along with any relevant research. Email ideas and information to info@theatermu.org

+ Does Theater Mu donate to fundraisers?

Theater Mu supports fundraising events for nonprofit organizations through the donation of ticket vouchers. We do not issue monetary donations. Priority is given to 501(c)(3) theater or arts organizations. Although we would like to grant all requests, we must limit the number of contributions we make. We give to each beneficiary group once per season. Donations requests may be denied by Theater Mu’s review process. To request a donation, please fill out this form.
