HOME / PRODUCTION HISTORY / The Magic Bus to Asian Folktales
The last three kids on the school bus are treated to special tales by the new bus driver. He tells them of Imperial China where the emperor holds a plant growing contest, a tale about honesty and respect between two Hmong Brothers in Laos and the story of Kansilay, the Filipino woman who bravely pursued the bandits who attacked her village. The stories teach the kids about their culture, their ancestry and themselves.
