MUSICAL THEATER

with KATIE BRADLEY

TURN A SONG INTO A PERFORMANCE

Across 10 sessions, we will be interpreting and rehearsing songs and scenes found in the musical theater canon. Working with an accompanist, we will look at vocal technique, focus on bringing out the meaning within the lyrics, and touch on how to prepare an audition book and sheet music. This class is structured for both beginning and returning musical theater students, with plenty of one-on-one, tailored instruction. Whether you’re an experienced artist who wants to hone your skills or a musical theater lover who wants to audition for the first time, this class is for you.

This class is designed for working or aspiring BIPOC artists who are 16 years or older. Registration deadline is Monday, Feb 19, at 11:59 p.m. CT.
