THE DYNAMIC MONOLOGUE
with ERIC SHARP
A VIRTUAL COURSE FOR ACTORS
Having trouble picking a monologue for an audition? Found a chunk of text and now wondering what to do with it? This MTI course will prioritize the development of Asian American actors by assigning text work from a variety of dramatic sources. Learning to bring a monologue to life is a vital skill for the professional performer. So brush up your Shakespeare, Shekar, Yee, or Nanako Winkler, and start building a repertoire of effective pieces that play to your strengths as an actor.
Participants will rehearse and perform 2-4 minute monologues during this virtual MTI offering. The course will culminate in a semi-public Zoom showcase. Acting experience is preferred. Enrollment is limited to 15 participants.
