Meet our new Office Manager — Jane Peña
Hi everyone!
My name is Jane Peña and I’m the newest addition to the Mu staff. I have been following Theater Mu for many years, having lived in Minneapolis (almost) all my life, and to finally be part of the team is a dream come true! As a mixed person—half white, one-quarter Mexican, and one-quarter Japanese—my racial and cultural identity is all over the place. I see Mu as a place I can find a home for all these pieces of myself.
I come from a background in literary management and dramaturgy. I've had a string of internships at theaters in Connecticut, Chicago, Iowa, and right here in Minneapolis. I have a passion for theater that expands and empowers, and I am so proud and excited to champion our artists and community members in the Twin Cities and beyond.
