Meet our new Programs Manager — Morgen Chang

Hello everyone!

My name is Morgen Chang, and I’m so grateful to be joining the Mu Squad. As a resident of the Twin Cities for 13 years and a proud member of the arts community, I have felt the impact of Mu’s mission in my own life. I have been privileged to serve on Mu’s teaching team for the past two years, working directly in schools and community centers. To be part of a program that celebrates and empowers Asian American artists, among a family of creative and driven individuals, gives me incredible joy and hope for the future.

I grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii, where I participated in dance and community theater almost from the time I could walk! My love for the arts has never died, following me to college in Minnesota while I pursued a degree in Sociology. When not working in the Mu office, I am an active performing artist, teacher, and facilitator, as well as an occasional gardener and enthusiastic cook! No matter what role I play, I am dedicated to opening spaces for people to explore their creative voice, engage in meaningful dialogue, and build powerful relationships with their local community and the world.
