SUMMER FUN, A SEASON PREVIEW, & SUPPORT FOR MU
For our second annual Block Party, we’re bringing more yard games, more activities, a silent auction, a family-style meal, and an overview of the 2024/25 season! Celebrate with artistic director Lily Tung Crystal on her last day at Mu, alongside managing director Anh Thu T. Pham, former artistic director Rick A. Shiomi, and the rest of the Mu family, and help us give a warm welcome to our interim artistic director as we look ahead to Mu’s vibrant future.
Want to get more involved? Sign up as a volunteer or learn about how to become an individual sponsor!

TICKETS
To keep our event as accessible as possible, Theater Mu is using PAY AS YOU ARE (PAYA) pricing. PAYA asks those who routinely pay $80 for event and fundraiser tickets to choose to pay that amount; it is the actual fair market value of the ticket. If a guest needs to pay less, they can choose to do so—as little as $40 per ticket. Children ages 5-12 can attend for $20, and children 4 years and under are free.
Your ticket includes:
entry into the fundraiser
complimentary, family-style lunch
two drink vouchers for alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages

SPONSOR THE EVENT
Accessibility for our audiences and community members is a major priority. Dismantling barriers to Mu’s programming not only amplifies Asian American voices and stories, but also allows our Mu Family to grow. We are applying this principle to our annual fundraising event by moving away from a traditional gala structure toward a more community centric gathering which includes our Pay As You Are pricing scale.
This sliding scale is only possible with the support of Mu Family members like you. We hope you will consider sponsoring the event, which will directly benefit those in our community who would be unable to attend the event otherwise.
Interested? Sign up at our online form or reach out to Development Director Wesley Mouri at wesley@theatermu.org.
